Data breaches have become all too common these days, with hackers making headlines by stealing credit and debit card information from everyday people. We take threats like these very seriously at VyStar Credit Union. That’s why we’re beefing up our security with a bigger, better fraud prevention system.
In the past, you would have received a digital voice call, email or live call from an agent if we identified suspicious activity on one of your accounts. Now, you can also receive fraud alert text messages. This allows us to reach you faster so you can immediately identify fraudulent activity—and stop it in its tracks. Here are a few features of the new system.
Immediate Fraud Alerts
When suspicious activity has been detected on your account, we don’t wait for an agent to dial your number—our automated system will contact you by text, email or phone.
Report Fraud Right Away
As soon as you receive your alert, just follow the instructions in the text to let us know whether the activity is fraudulent or not. You can also call our automated system if you prefer.
Real-Time Support
Our live agents are ready to assist you at any time to ensure you receive the best defense exactly when you need it.
There is no need to sign up for this service. As a VyStar member, you’re automatically enrolled. All you need to do is log in to Online Banking and review your contact information to ensure you will receive these important fraud alerts.
Visit our Fraud Protection Center to learn more about how we protect you — and how to protect yourself — against fraud. If you suspect that you’ve been a victim of fraud, learn how to report fraud right away.
