If you have a VyStar Visa® credit card or VyStar debit card, you are probably already familiar with the card’s many security features that are designed to protect you against fraudulent activity on your account. These features include automated phone calls that alert you whenever a suspicious transaction is made on your card.
Just like the automated phone call, the text alert feature automatically notifies you via text message* when a transaction is flagged as suspect, making it even quicker and easier to confirm whether or not you recognize the transaction.
To opt-out of text alerts, reply "STOP" to any text alert. You will no longer receive fraud alerts via SMS message. To reactivate Fraud text alerts reply UNDO. You may also opt-out by calling the number provided on the back of your card and asking to be opted out of Fraud Text Alerts messages.
VyStar actively monitors members’ card transactions for suspicious activity and contacts them by phone if suspicious activity is detected. If you have a mobile phone number on file with us, VyStar will call your mobile phone to notify you if a suspicious transaction has been identified on your debit card account. If you do not have a mobile phone number associated with your account but have provided us with a home phone number, VyStar will call you at home to inform you about the potentially fraudulent activity.
If you have any further questions about fraud alerts or any other fraud monitoring services provided, please do not hesitate to call us at (904) 777-6000 or toll-free at 1 (800) 445-6289 and speak with a VyStar representative.
*VyStar does not charge a fee for the fraud text alert service; however, standard text message and data charges may apply. If you are unsure about your mobile carrier’s rates, please contact your service provider.
**Message delivery can depend on the service area and wireless carrier.
