All VyStar Offices will be Closed on February 18, 2019, Presidents' Day.
To all our active duty and veteran military personnel: VyStar Credit Union salutes you. While VyStar now serves anyone who lives or works in counties from Central to North Florida and Southeast Georgia, we still hold true to our military roots.
The VyStar team is grateful to our military service members, as well as their families, for the selfless sacrifices they make for our country and our freedom. We are honored to serve you, and we look forward to continuing to support our troops in any way we can.
Formerly known as Jax Navy Federal Credit Union, VyStar was chartered in 1952 by 12 founding members with $60 at Naval Air Station Jacksonville (NAS Jax) to provide civil service and military employees and their families a safe place to save and borrow money. Each year, VyStar sponsors, participates in and contributes to more than 20 military-focused events, charities and initiatives. The following are just a few recent examples of how VyStar supports our military and veteran service members.

You might have spotted this piece of artwork at a VyStar branch. We call it “The Family,” and it’s meaningful to us because it shows our members just how important families are to VyStar. We want to make sure families get the financial help they need to flourish and accomplish their goals. The American flag in the background shows we are a very patriotic organization. Our strong military roots and our patriotism began when we were founded in 1952 at Naval Air Station Jacksonville (NAS Jax) to serve civil service and military employees, and they continue to be a part of our credit union’s DNA to this day.
