Important Information For VyStar Members Regarding Coronavirus

VyStar will begin to reopen select branch lobbies on May 18th, with all lobbies opened by May 26th, following a phased approach that is similar to Florida’s strategy for loosening social distancing restrictions while still closely following state and federal guidelines. SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)

To best support our community, we are now accepting applications for the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) from small business owners who are not currently VyStar members.

While some other financial institutions have stopped accepting PPP applications, VyStar continues to steadily process applications from current members, and we are prepared to assist additional small business owners located within our field of membership.

If you have not yet applied, we encourage you to do so now as PPP funding could soon be exhausted and applications will be processed in the order they are received.

Small Business Relief Programs

The City of Jacksonville and VyStar Credit Union are collaborating on a loan program to assist local small businesses affected by the COVID-19 response. The City’s contribution to the Small Business Lending Program will be between $20 to $30 million, which will be used to provide a combination of grants, interest payments and potential aid toward the principal of the loan, with some elements tied to employee retention.

Jacksonville businesses affected by COVID-19 can apply for the City of Jacksonville COVID-19 Community Relief Loan.
