The VyStar High School all star Athlete program has been running on WJXT-TV 4 for 12 years. It honors a scholar athlete attending a high school in the Jacksonville television market that not only excels in their sport but also through community involvement and/or scholastic achievement. Nominees can be either male or female athletes participating in any sport. The winners are recognized on News4Jax on WJXT-TV4.
