As part of VyStar Credit Union’s commitment to helping our members regain their financial footing, we are now offering a Skip-A-Payment program that is intended to provide additional financial flexibility to those who have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Through our Skip-A-Payment program, members have the option to change the due date or defer payments for up to three months on eligible loans. That extra money in your pocket could go toward expenses such as child care, grocery bills or the haircut you’ve had to put off for the past few months. (Or fixing the haircut a significant other tried to give you.)
Loan payments eligible for the Skip-A-Payment program include:
Members also have the option to change the due date on their loan(s). The month that payment is due does not change, but the additional flexibility could help you better align your expenses with when you are set to receive your next paycheck or unemployment payment.
Please note: Credit card payments are eligible for a deferment but not for a change in due date. Not all members or loans will qualify for VyStar’s Skip-A-Payment program and other stipulations apply.
For more information about the Skip-A-Payment program, as well as other loan relief options that are available to members, please visit our coronavirus page.
Now and in the future, VyStar will continue to work alongside our members to help ensure they are in the best-possible financial position.
