Whether you are opening a new checking account or looking to replace a lost, stolen or damaged card, you can get your new card right on the spot. Here’s how Instant Issue works: New members who are signing up for a brand-new checking account at any VyStar branch will be automatically given a new debit card, which they can start using right away. If you are already a member and your debit card has been lost, stolen or damaged, just speak with a Member Relationship Specialist at any VyStar branch location, and within minutes you’ll be handed a replacement card that’s activated and ready to go. Whether your card is new or a replacement, you can immediately start making purchases at stores or online—no waiting, no hassle. It’s just that easy.
Your new or replacement card will also come equipped with EMV chip technology. Many members already have chip-enabled debit cards. Those members who currently have working debit cards without an EMV chip will receive their chip-enabled debit cards in the mail this summer.
