We have exciting news: With the newest update to Mobile Banking,* VyStar members are now able to enjoy five new features that improve their mobile experience! The new improvements include a transfer memo field, improved search capabilities, a check viewing option and Make a VyStar Payment. However, we think the most exciting new feature by far is the one that members have been eagerly awaiting: Touch ID for iPhone®. Read on to learn more about each convenient new enhancement!
If you have an iPhone 5s or newer, you can now access the VyStar Mobile Banking App for iPhone with just the touch of your finger. Signing in to your accounts has never been easier: Rather than entering your username and password each time you use our app, enabling Touch ID allows you to sign in to your accounts by simply placing your thumb on your phone’s home button. Your fingerprint is immediately scanned, and you’re ready to use the Mobile Banking App on the spot.
To set up Touch ID for your Mobile Banking App, you’ll first need to make sure that you have set up a passcode and Touch ID on your iPhone. If you have not already done so, please visit www.support.apple.com/iphone for setup instructions before moving on to the instructions below.
Once you have set up a passcode and Touch ID on your iPhone, you can enable Touch ID for your VyStar Mobile Banking App. Click for full instructions on how to activate Touch ID.
Please note: Although fingerprint recognition for Android is not currently available, it is coming soon. Keep an eye out for updates!
It’s important to be able to track your transfers for easier transaction identification. A memo field with a 25-character limit has been added for you to add a note. Once the transfer is complete, your account activity will have an updated description. The transaction description will still have “OLB TRF” at the beginning, which is short for “Online Banking Transfer.” Your memo will be appended at the end of the description. For example, if a memo of “Lunch” is added for a transfer, your account activity would indicate “OLB TRF Lunch” as the transaction description.
With a click of an icon within the Mobile Banking iPhone or Android App, members can now view a check that has been processed. Just log in to your app and tap the account that you would like to view. Next to the transaction that you would like to view, tap the check icon to view an image of the front and back of the check.
To help you find specific transactions quickly and easily, a free-form keyword search has been added to the Accounts area. Just log in to the Mobile Banking App and tap the account you would like to view. Then, use the search bar to look up transactions by description, check number or other keywords.
VyStar members can now make a payment to VyStar loans and credit cards through Mobile Banking and Internet Banking. You can access this option via Internet Banking under the “Move Money” menu or via Mobile Banking under the “Payments” menu. Someone who is not a member of VyStar can also make a payment on behalf of a member through this link.
To access all of these great new mobile features, you must have the newest version of the VyStar Mobile Banking App. If your apps are not automatically updated on your mobile phone, follow these easy steps to download the newest version of the app:
