Join us for a free VyStar Financial Fitness Reality Fair Experience on Feb. 1 from 9am - 12:30pm.
Free lunch and refreshments will be provided. Plus, each participating student has the choice of receiving Orlando Solar Bears hockey tickets or Central FL Zoo tickets!
Workshop is intended for ages 13 - 18.
Parents, guardians, or chaperones are required to stay the duration of event.
What students will learn:
The importance of having a money plan
Budgeting basics
Spending, saving and sharing wisely
The cost / impact of credit
Here is how it works:
Free parking in the GEICO Garage (5th floor) then enter through the GEICO Bridge and then you'll be escorted to Hourglass.
9am - 9:30am: Check In
Upon arrival students are given a new identity (occupation, income, etc.)
Next students are provided clip boards with budgeting worksheets, pens and calculators
The VyStar team provides a brief overview and instructions to students of the simulation
Simulation starts and the students visit 11 stations (including car, home, grocery buying, etc.)
Upon completion, students will receive a certificate + special VyStar swag

Arrive through the GEICO Bridge for check in and then you'll be escorted to Hourglass.

Free parking in the GEICO Garage on the 5th floor. (400 West South Street, Orlando, FL 32805)
We suggest allowing extra time for parking due to road closures from a morning 5k event.
Event parking at the GEICO Garage is valid until 1:30p.m.
